All Aliens Must Report Change of Address

Persons who are in the U.S. on a temporary visa, or in the U.S. as a Resident Alien (green card holder) are required to report any change of home address to the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service. The INS form that has been suggested for this filing is AR-11, and is available on the INS’s website. Persons who filed an I-864 Affidavit of Support must also notify the INS if their address changes – form I-865. This is part of the new INS more restrictive control effort of foreign nationals present in the U.S. after the September 11 World Trade Center events.
