Recognized as one of the preeminent Immigration Attorneys nationally, Mr. English has been dedicated to the practice of law for over 40 years, with 30 years of experience in the field of immigration and nationality law. He has represented thousands of clients including Fortune 100 and 500 companies, entertainers, athletes, religious institutions, computer and business personnel, scientists and numerous other professionals. Mr. English is also recognized as a preeminent immigration trial attorney involved in precedent setting judicial decisions for asylum and employment immigration law.

Mr. English is one of the founding members of the Michigan Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, serving as its Treasurer for over a decade. He has served on AILA's Nebraska Service Center Liaison Committees, advocating complex immigration issues for various attorneys.

Mr. English has advocated corporate immigration issues before the United States Congress and the State of Michigan. US Senators, Congressmen, and the Governor on immigration law matters have sought his expert opinion. Additionally, Mr. English is a full participating member of the National Immigration Law Consortium-IMMLAW, which consists of pre-eminent immigration practitioners in the United States.

Additionally, Mr. English extended his immigration knowledge as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Law in excess of 30 years. Mr. English as been a frequent lecturer on Immigration Law matters internationally and has authored papers on immigration law matters.

Mr. English has been selected and listed in Best Lawyers in America as an Immigration Law expert and he has been selected and listed in Martindale-Hubbell in its list of Pre-Eminent Lawyers and in the International Who's Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers. In addition, Mr. English has been asked to testify as a US Immigration Law Expert witness for various trials in the Michigan and Canadian Courts. He has consulted with Senior Japanese foreign service in Tokyo on US immigration policy.
